Maple Lanes stood on East Warren near Mack in Detroit, anchoring a working-class neighborhood through decades of change. Opening in the mid-1950s, it became a gathering place where league bowlers and families found common ground. Some alleys were just alleys. Maple Lanes was the block's second home. Part of our Retro Bowling collection, featuring the defunct alleys of yesteryear.
