Moorhead's Barmaids took the diamond in 1897 as part of the Red River Valley League, a semipro outfit born from the saloon culture that defined small-town Minnesota baseball. Playing along the North Dakota border, they carried a name no modern franchise would dare touch. Some team names just told you where the players came from.

The Details:

Arched golden-tan bold serif text reads "BARMAIDS" above a rubber hose style cartoon mascot of an anthropomorphic beer mug with a foamy top, one raised fist, and a smiling face. Golden-tan and white text reads "EST. 1897," "Baseball," and "Red River Valley League" surrounding the character. Block serif text at the bottom reads "MOORHEAD, MINN."
