New Recreation Alleys stood at 918 G Street in the heart of Washington, D.C., a downtown lane that thrived during the mid-twentieth century bowling boom. G Street was the city's commercial spine, alive with theaters and nightlife. Alleys like this one gave working folks and government clerks alike a place to unwind after long days serving the capital. Part of our Retro Bowling collection, featuring the defunct alleys of yesteryear.
