Mutuals of New York stood among the founding clubs of the National Association in 1871. Playing at Union Grounds in Brooklyn, they competed in an era before professional baseball had formal structure. Born from post-Civil War New York, they helped shape the very foundation of the game. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
