Norfolk's Elk Horns took the diamond in 1914 as part of the Nebraska State League's Class D circuit. Small town baseball clubs like this one were the soul of their communities, giving working families something to believe in on summer evenings. Nebraska towns lived and died with their teams, and Norfolk was no different.
Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
