Nestled in the dawn of Palm Springs’ transformation from quiet desert outpost to celebrity refuge, the original Palm Springs Hotel opened in the early 1920s (circa 1923) and introduced one of the town’s earliest featured swimming pools. Over the years as more glamorous resorts sprouted around it, that pool became a symbol of desert leisure and exclusivity, where guests would lounge under palms, sip cocktails, and soak up the sunshine. Though the hotel eventually faded and the pool no longer survives, its spirit lives on in stories of mid-century glamour and Hollywood escape. This design is part of our retro collection, celebrating the lost hotels, resorts, restaurants, and hangouts that once defined the golden age of Greater Palm Springs, California. Printed on our warm & cozy heavyweight unisex sweatshirt. We print & ship all of our high quality graphic sweatshirts in the USA.
