The Polynesian Room was a vibrant tiki-themed restaurant and lounge located within the Yankee Clipper Hotel at 1140 Seabreeze Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Opening in the late 1950s, it stood out as one of the first Florida hotel venues to feature a full Polynesian floor show, offering guests an immersive tropical experience complete with island-inspired décor and live entertainment. With seating for 300, the Polynesian Room became a popular destination for both locals and tourists seeking an exotic escape. Though it closed in the mid-1970s, its legacy endures as a cherished part of Fort Lauderdale's mid-century tiki culture.
