T-Shirts come in two premium styles. Deluxe: 100% ring-spun cotton. Luxury: ultra soft vintage heather blend of combed ring-spun cotton & polyester.

Pueblo was a Colorado steel and rail hub in 1889, sitting at the junction of three transcontinental lines and just downriver from the silver camps of the Rockies. The Ponies took the field that summer in the brand-new five-team Colorado State League, alongside Aspen, Colorado Springs, Denver, and Leadville. They were running first place by a 3.5-game margin when the franchise abruptly disbanded on July 22, the second of three teams to collapse before the league limped to a finish. Pueblo would re-enter pro baseball intermittently across the next half-century, but the Ponies were the city's first.

Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.

The Details:

Red and navy print built around a circular badge featuring an illustration of a horse-headed mascot in a red "P" cap, taking a swing with motion lines streaming behind. The full inscription reads "Pueblo, Colorado," "Ponies," "1889," "Colorado State League," and "Baseball Club," with the team name in a heavily distressed red script and the year in heavy navy block. The print carries a noticeably weathered vintage texture.
