Riverside's Dons took the field in 1947 as part of California's post-war minor league boom. The club gave the Inland Empire its own diamond identity during an era when small city baseball was community religion. Some teams last decades, but the Dons burned bright enough in Riverside to earn remembering. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
