Springfield's Reapers played Class D ball in the Ohio State League starting in 1911, representing a small city that lived and breathed minor league baseball. Towns like Springfield, Ohio gave the sport its grassroots soul. Those lower classifications were where the game stayed close enough to touch. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
