Aloha bars shaped San Diego's waterfront culture from the 1940s onward, when returning Pacific veterans brought tiki tradition stateside. These tropical lounges became sacred ground for sailors, surfers, and anyone chasing paradise on the California coast. Few cities embraced the tiki movement as deeply or as permanently. Part of our Vintage Tiki collection, celebrating the defunct golden era bars of yesteryear.
