Bowlero stood tall on Camino Del Rio in San Diego, a mid-century landmark boasting 56 lanes with automatic pinsetters. Opening in the late 1950s, it arrived when bowling was becoming America's favorite pastime. Places like this gave working families a night out and neighborhoods a gathering place. Part of our Retro Bowling collection, featuring the defunct alleys of yesteryear.
