The Heathwood Resort Motel in Miami Beach opened in the 1950s on the ocean at 186th Street and became a beloved beachfront escape with a heated Olympic size pool, 200 foot private beach, coffee shop, cocktail lounge, free TV and kitchenettes in rooms, nightly entertainment, and full air conditioning. It welcomed guests for more than two decades before closing in the late 1970s to make way for modern high rise development. This retro vintage design was inspired by the vintage hotels & resorts of yesteryear. Printed on our warm & cozy heavyweight unisex sweatshirt.
