Restaurant Row in Los Angeles was a stretch of La Cienega Boulevard where mid-century dining reached its peak, and establishments like The Islander helped define it. Established in 1959, this Polynesian retreat arrived during the golden age of tiki culture. Angelenos found an escape into the South Pacific without ever leaving the city. Part of our Vintage Tiki collection, celebrating the defunct golden era bars of yesteryear.
