Palms in the Jungle stood at 1110 East Orangethorpe in Anaheim, a tiki restaurant born from the Polynesian craze sweeping Southern California in the 1950s and 1960s. Places like this turned a simple dinner out into an escape, trading suburban sidewalks for bamboo and tropical fantasy. Anaheim had Disneyland, but the locals had their own kind of magic. Part of our Vintage Restaurant collection, celebrating the classic American menus of yesteryear.
The Details:
