Toots Shor's on West 52nd Street in Manhattan was the ultimate gathering place for athletes, writers, and entertainers from the 1940s through the 1960s. More than a restaurant, it served as New York's unofficial clubhouse. Legends didn't just eat there, they belonged there, and a seat at the bar meant you had arrived.
