Toots Shor's on 51 West 51st Street in Manhattan was the ultimate gathering place for athletes, writers, and entertainers from the 1940s through the 1960s. Opening in 1940, it became the crossroads where sports legends and Hollywood stars rubbed elbows over steaks and cocktails. Some restaurants serve meals, but this one served as New York's unofficial clubhouse. Part of our Vintage Restaurant collection, celebrating the classic American menus of yesteryear.
