Wagon Wheel Bowl stood as Oxnard, California's around-the-clock gathering place, a 32-lane house that never closed its doors. Opening during the postwar bowling boom of the 1950s and 1960s, it anchored Wagon Wheel Road as a cornerstone of the community. Some alleys were just lanes and rental shoes, but this one felt like home.
