Westview Skateland promised a barrel of fun with the dead-eyed sincerity of a dad who roller skates in a sport coat. Seven-digit phone number, no area code, because in 1957 strangers were just neighbors you hadn't square-danced with yet. The Details:
Barrel-shaped red and cream border frames the composition, with curved red script reading "Roller Skating" at the top, "A BARREL O' FUN" in red block letters below, and a small "~CHICAGO~" stamp at upper right. A 1950s hand-drawn illustration in red, black, and cream depicts four figures roller skating amid radiating lines. Below, text reads "WESTVIEW SKATELAND," "461 Commerce Sq. W. — At 4000 Sullivan Ave., Columbus, Ohio," and "Phone No. 276-6371."
