Woonsocket's Trotters took the diamond in 1908 as part of the Atlantic Association, bringing organized baseball to a Rhode Island mill town that lived and breathed the game. A small city fielding its own club, standing alongside larger New England rivals. Some teams last decades, others only need a season to leave a mark. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:
Arched red Western-style text reads "TROTTERS" above a yellow rearing horse with blue outline details, positioned atop a large yellow baseball with visible stitching. Blue serif text reads "EST." and "1908" flanking the graphic, with large bold red serif capitals reading "BASEBALL" below. Blue script reads "Woonsocket, Rhode Island" above small blue uppercase text reading "★ ATLANTIC ASSOCIATION ★" at the bottom.
