Betamax logos are worn exclusively by people who backed the better tape in 1975 and have been losing the argument ever since. Sony kept selling blank tapes until 2016, which is setting a dinner plate for a dog that died in the eighties.
The Details:
Framing the full design is a white rounded-rectangle outline. Three vertical red, green, and cyan stripes taper to pointed tips, forming the stem of a distressed white calligraphic "B" with crescent-shaped bowls. White sans-serif text reads "Betamax" above "Video Recording" and "System" to the right of the stripes.
