Mount Clemens earned its nickname as "Bath City" for the mineral springs that drew visitors from across the Midwest. Founded in 1906, the Bathers played Class D ball in the Southern Michigan League, carrying that spa town identity right onto the diamond. Small town clubs like these were the fabric of early baseball in Michigan. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:
Distressed red script text reads "Bathers" with a pennant-style tail extending from the letter S. A blue line-art illustration of a batter mid-swing appears alongside blue text reading "EST. 1906," "CLASS D BASEBALL," "SOUTHERN MICHIGAN LEAGUE," and "MOUNT CLEMENS, MICH."
