The Aberdeen Boosters played ball in 1920 as part of the Dakota League, bringing small town baseball energy to Aberdeen, South Dakota during a brief but lively moment in regional sports history. The name "Boosters" reflected the era's civic pride movement, where local teams were seen as ambassadors for growing towns across the Midwest.
