Llo-Da-Mar stood at Wilshire and 5th in Santa Monica, a bowling center that carried the rhythm of midcentury league culture from the 1950s onward. Back when EXbrook exchange phone numbers still meant something, places like this anchored entire neighborhoods. Some alleys were just lanes and shoes, but Llo-Da-Mar was where Santa Monica gathered. Part of our Vintage Los Angeles collection, featuring the iconic local landmarks of yesteryear.
