Laurel's Blue Hens took the diamond in 1922 as part of the Eastern Shore League in Delaware. Class D baseball gave small towns a heartbeat every summer. Communities like Laurel didn't just field teams, they rallied entire towns around them. Working families found something to believe in under those lights. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
