Union City's Greyhounds ran in the Kitty League starting in 1935, carrying small-town Tennessee pride onto dusty Class D diamonds. That league bound together border towns across Kentucky, Illinois, and Tennessee when baseball was still the only game that mattered. Clubs like these gave young men a shot and gave their communities something to believe in. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
