Allentown's minor league baseball roots stretch back to the late 1890s, when small Pennsylvania towns lived and died by their local clubs. Established in 1898, the Peanuts carried the pride of the Lehigh Valley onto dusty diamond fields long before modern franchises reshaped the game. Teams like these were the soul of their towns, not just a pastime. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
