Mitchell Kernels - South Dakota - Vintage Defunct Baseball Teams - Unisex Sweatshirt
PRINTED IN & SHIPPED FROM USA
Our high quality unisex sweatshirts consist of a premium 8.5oz cotton/polyester blend with a classic crew neck and flattering fit.
Mitchell's Kernels took the diamond in 1920, bringing Class D ball to a South Dakota town already proud of its corn heritage. Playing in the South Dakota League, they gave Mitchell something beyond agriculture to rally around on summer evenings. Some teams are remembered for championships, but the Kernels endured as a symbol of small-town devotion to the game.
Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
