Hollywood Star Lanes opened in the 1960s at 5227 Santa Monica Blvd., between Western and Normandy in Hollywood, California. A mid-century bowling palace built for league nights and weekend crowds, it served generations of Angelenos. Some alleys just hold lanes, but this one held a neighborhood together.
Part of our Vintage Los Angeles collection, featuring the iconic local landmarks of yesteryear.
