Alpha Beta shelved its groceries alphabetically, so "First in Foods" just meant anchovies got the good real estate. The prize ribbon says ACME, which means a supermarket proudly accepted an award from the company that sold a coyote forty years of defective anvils. The Details:
Alphy, a vintage cartoon cowboy boy in a green hat, yellow neckerchief, and red top reading "Alphy," rests a hand on a green rosette with a yellow center reading "ACME." A black-outlined white scalloped oval badge holds chunky green block text reading "ALPHA BETA" above red script reading "First in Foods," with distressed halftone texture.
