Tail o' the Cock was a Los Angeles landmark from the 1940s through 1987, holding court on both Ventura Blvd. and La Cienega near Wilshire. Hollywood's elite gathered there for decades, making it one of the city's most beloved dining rooms. Some restaurants feed a neighborhood, but this one fed an era.
