Dimond Roller Rink put a diamond on a winged skate wheel because one misspelled neighborhood deserves one perfect logo. A sign painter in 1955 made something no modern design firm could replicate with a million dollar budget and a roomful of iPads. The Details:
A faceted white diamond sits atop a winged roller skate wheel hub with gear-like spokes, centered within a circular red-orange border. Curved white serif text along the border reads "DIMOND ROLLER RINK," with smaller distressed white text at the bottom reading "3526 FRUITVALE AV., OAKLAND, CALIF."
