Arena Bowl held its ground on Oakland Avenue in St. Louis for decades, a neighborhood alley where league nights meant everything. Rising in the mid-twentieth century, it carried the soul of a city that bowled as seriously as it played baseball. Places like this weren't entertainment, they were tradition.
