Bay City's Beavers took the diamond in 1913, joining the South Michigan League during an era when minor league ball was the soul of small-town life. Communities along the Saginaw River didn't treat these teams as entertainment. They were identity, stitched into summers that whole generations carried with them. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:
Arched distressed cream block text reads "BAY CITY BEAVERS" above a vintage hand-drawn cartoon beaver mascot in cream ink, wearing a baseball cap and swinging a bat. Smaller cream text below reads "BASEBALL CLUB" followed by "BAY CITY, MICHIGAN" and "ESTD 1913," all rendered in weathered serif and sans-serif typefaces.
