Billingsley's Outrigger brought authentic Polynesian dining to the artistic shores of Laguna Beach during the height of the tiki craze in the 1960s. Located at the iconic Surf and Sand resort, this tropical oasis transported guests from the California coastline to an imagined South Pacific paradise with bamboo architecture, exotic cocktails, and traditional island cuisine. The restaurant became a beloved destination where beachgoers could transition seamlessly from sun and surf to rum punches and pupu platters.
