Dallas Tigers baseball belonged to the earliest days of the Texas League, when a young city on the Trinity River was still finding its footing. Founded in 1889, the club gave Dallas a reason to gather on summer evenings long before any major league franchise arrived. Minor league ball was the only ball then, and it mattered deeply. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
