The Danville Tobaccoists took the field in 1905 as part of the Virginia North Carolina League, proudly representing Danville, Virginia at the height of the region’s booming tobacco trade. Danville was known as the World's Best Tobacco Market during that era, and the team name served as a badge of honor for a town built on auctions, factory smoke, and working class pride. This design is part of our old school retro baseball series, with original branding reimagined by m00nshot for the forgotten Minor League teams of yesteryear.
