All Star Lanes anchored the corner of Skillman and Northwest Highway in Dallas from the 1960s as a temple of league bowling. Generations of Dallas bowlers knew those lanes the way churchgoers knew their pews. Some alleys were just businesses, but this one carried a name synonymous with the sport itself.
