Edinburg's Bobcats took the field in 1926 as part of the Gulf Coast League's Class D circuit. Deep in the Rio Grande Valley, these small-town Texas clubs gave communities something to rally behind on summer nights. Long before television, minor league ball was the heartbeat of towns like Edinburg. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
