Fall River's Spindles played in the Colonial League during the mid-1910s, a Class C minor league club born from a textile city that lived and breathed hard work. Founded in 1914 in southeastern Massachusetts, the team carried the identity of the mill workers who filled the stands. Some clubs fade from record books but never from the towns that claimed them.
Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:
Distressed golden-yellow text reads "Est.1914" above white serif text reading "FALL RIVER, MASS." A vintage hand-drawn illustration of a batter in mid-swing sits behind large golden-yellow script reading "Spindles" with a swooping underline, dust kicking at his feet. A bordered rectangular banner reads "Colonial League, Class C" with "Baseball Club" in white below.
