Henry's Coffee Shop anchored 847 Ventura Street in Fillmore, California, through the 1950s and 1960s. Part coffee counter, part dining room, it was where ranchers and field workers shared the same lunch counter. Small agricultural towns like Fillmore ran on places like Henry's.
