Jonesboro's Zebras played Class D ball in the Northeast Arkansas League starting in 1909, bringing organized baseball to a small Arkansas cotton town. Minor league clubs like these were the lifeblood of rural communities, giving folks something to rally around long before television arrived.

The Details:
