Kahala Terrace in Northbrook Illinois opened in 1974 in a White Plains shopping center and served Chinese-Cantonese food with Polynesian flair set to soft Hawaiian music. It featured rattan chairs flower print cushions cedar shingled booths and bold tiki bar style flair and operated through at least 1983 before closing. This retro vintage design was inspired by the vintage tiki bars of yesteryear. Printed on our warm & cozy heavyweight unisex sweatshirt.
