Montpelier, Vermont's Goldfish Baseball Club was established in 1924 as part of the Quebec-Ontario-Vermont League. Small border-region circuits like these stitched together towns across state and national lines. Vermont's capital fielded a club where fans knew every player by name yet competed proudly across borders. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
