Reidsville's Luckies took the field in 1935 as part of the Bi-State League, a Class D outfit in the tobacco heartland of North Carolina. Named for the crop that built the town, the club carried Reidsville's identity right on its jersey. Small-town minor league ball like this was the soul of southern summers.
Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
