Shenandoah, Pennsylvania was a rough coal town when the Hungarian Rioters took the diamond in the Central Penn. League around 1888. Born from the immigrant communities that powered the anthracite mines, the team carried a name that spoke to the raw, unapologetic spirit of its people. Baseball gave those miners something beyond survival. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:

Green script text reads "Hungarian" and green block text reads "Rioters" below the emblem, flanked by "CENTRAL PENN. LEAGUE" and "Est. 1888." Smaller green text at the bottom reads "SHENANDOAH, PA."
