Skating roosters smoking cigars on signposts was a completely normal advertising decision in 1950s Santa Ana, and it worked better than anything a marketing team with a six-figure budget produces today. The phone number still starts with letters because branding peaked before area codes existed. Part of our Retro Roller Rink collection, inspired by the classic skating rinks of yesteryear.
