South Pacific Polynesian Restaurant and Village stood along U.S. Route 1 in Hallandale Beach, Florida, drawing travelers into a mid-century tropical fantasy. Opening in the 1950s, it was part of a wave of tiki destinations that transformed South Florida's roadside culture. Places like this didn't just serve mai tais, they transported you somewhere else entirely. Part of our Vintage Tiki collection, celebrating the defunct golden era bars of yesteryear.
