Cleveland Municipal Stadium hosted one of baseball's most notorious promotions on June 4th, 1974. Ten Cent Beer Night was designed to fill seats for the Indians, but dime drafts and a rowdy crowd turned the game into a forfeit. The league made sure nothing like it ever happened again.
Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
