The Mint opened in 1957 on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas, long before the Strip stole the spotlight. Gamblers who preferred grit over glamour found a home here. Downtown was the original heart of Vegas, and The Mint helped keep it beating through the 1960s and 1970s. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.
